In the midst of the strike that the workers of the National Judiciary maintain for 36 hours, the national government once more rejected in the last hours the request for funds from the Supreme Court and urged the highest court to face the increases with the budget already assigned or with own resources.
According to the Government, the court has money for increases
The official position was explained by the Chief of Staff Agustín Rossi, who indicated to infobae that the changes will be made in the budget items to pay for the increases, but always with the funds that the Judiciary has already assigned and not new ones or with the Court’s own resources.
“The salary increase will also have to be met with available own resources,” he said.
As considered, the Supreme Court has surpluses from this year’s budget to pay for the increases. In turn, he stressed that the body has its own fund of 151,711 million pesos in bank accounts and fixed terms.
This Thursday, the national courts initiated a measure of force for 36 hours to demand a salary recomposition.
