Paz Carrara recently premiered The Conversethe first movement for his new album, successor to the celebrated I got tired of making songs (don’t let them come out if I’m not crying)from 2022.
It is another page of pop song, in this case produced by Bambi and that “comes to highlight the style and game” in the new music by the Cordovan singer-songwriter.
“Having to write to your recent ex to find something you left at his house is procrastination worthy. What is greater: the desire to recover what you lost or the loss of dignity that the request means? Asks an official endorsement of the launch.
“With an ironic, fun and pop tone, Las converse tells the story of that internal debate that we all suffer when we go through that,” adds the text, which then highlights that the current 2023 marks a before and following in the career of Paz Carrara, who used TikTok to expand the purposes that led her to compose The Converse.
In the first of several posted videos, Paz tells that the story of the song refers to a chaotic breakup.
“Let’s go back several years ago when I decided to end a relationship. Not a minor detail, me, this little face, lesbian. What regarding lesbian people? It cuts chaotically, always”, says Carrara looking at the camera.
And then he adds: “If you know a lesbian who hasn’t cut chaotically, insert a comment. And as I told you in the other video, when you break up with another person, she loses licenses; among them, those of being sad, missing or sending a message. Because if she did, she was a toxic piece of shit.”
“Well, she was very good with self-control and all that, until I ran into her at a recital. The level of bad luck of running into someone at the Palermo Hippodrome… She also tells me that she had my Converse. And since she mightn’t write to him to return them to me, I unloaded myself with this song, ”she concludes.
Paz Carrara will return to Córdoba on August 5, to perform at the Itinerant Culture Festival, which will take place at the Quality Arena. No Te Va a Gustar, El Zar, El Kuelgue and Sabor Canela will also perform at that meeting.
