Hans Sigl celebrates his Mörbisch debut alongside Barbara Schöneberger at 8:15 p.m

Vienna (OTS) Start of the new “Starnacht” season! The “Starnacht am Neusiedler See” returns on Saturday, June 3, 2023, live at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 2 and MDR on the lake stage in Mörbisch and gets in the mood for the musical summer with numerous audience favorites. Stars and hit fireworks in a unique setting await the Austrian and German viewers. The show will be moderated by Barbara Schöneberger and Hans Sigl, who is celebrating his Mörbisch debut and will have presented all three annual “Starnacht” editions – at Wörthersee, in the Wachau and at Lake Neusiedl.

Approaching the “Starnacht am Neusiedler See” are, among others, clouds free with front woman Vanessa Mai, pop singer Linda Hesse, song contest winner Johnny Logan, music legend Tony Christie, who is celebrating his 80th birthday this year, pop star Nik P., the German Pop band Marquess, the pop duo King & Potter, DSDS winner and shooting star Ramon Roselly, young hits and “Starnacht” discovery Charlien, Chris Steger, Allessa, AnNa R. (formerly Rosenstolz) and Pia Maria, Austria at Eurovision Song Contest 2022 represented. Alfons Haider, General Manager of the Mörbisch Lake Festival, has also announced his visit and promised a small excerpt from the musical world success “Mamma Mia”, which will be shown at the Lake Festival in Mörbisch in summer.

Barrier-free transmission for the visually and hearing impaired audience

“The Star Night at Lake Neusiedl” will be broadcast barrier-free. Live subtitles are available for deaf and hearing-impaired viewers in ORF TELETEXT on page 777 and on the ORF-TVthek. In addition, Sandra Spick and Sebastian Aster will provide live audio commentary on the program for blind and visually impaired people. The blind commentary can be called up on the second audio track using the remote control. The barrier-free programs are available on the ORF-TVthek for seven days as video-on-demand.
