The construction group Implenia has won two major contracts in Germany and Switzerland for a total of more than 170 million francs.
The first concerns a rehearsal and workshop center for the Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel, the main theater in Bavaria, and the second concerns apartment buildings in Zurich.
The planning for the rehearsal center, which will be built in Munich, already started in March, and the first groundbreaking will be given in June, wrote Implenia in a press release on Tuesday. The handover to the owners is scheduled for December 2026. For Implenia, the volume of the order amounts to more than 140 million euros.
In Zurich, Implenia will replace an apartment building in the second district on behalf of Swiss Life Asset Management. This will include 36 apartments. The company will also replace a building in the Seebach district on behalf of the SBB pension fund, with 30 apartments. The total amount of these two mandates exceeds 30 million francs.
