The action was specially set up at the same time as the meeting of the Vlaams Belang, the far-right Flemish party, which was held on the Place de l’Albertine, a few hundred meters away. The demonstration passed off peacefully. Participants unfurled “fascists not welcome” and “stop racism, sexism, LGBTQI + phobia” banners.
