Starting up 1.1% on Friday around eleven o’clock at 3,780 points, the BEL 20 index stood out by doing better than its European neighbors despite AB InBev (58.55) and UCB (81.36) which fell by 1.6 and 0.5%.
All the other elements of the Brussels index were up, Solvay (108.40) and Proximus (7.67), leading with leaps of 4.4 and 3.5%, the heavyweight arGEN-X ( 366.90) similarly jumping 3.1% while Galapagos (37.34) gained 1.8%.
Umicore (29.51) and Aperam (33.19) were worth 3 and 1.7% more than the day before, Ackermans (159.40) and Sofina (207.00) appreciating by 1.4 and 2%, KBC (62.40) and Ageas (40.26) by 1.7 and 1.3%.
Bpost (4.494) also regained 6.5%, DEME (125.80) jumping 4.5% while the results of Intervest Offices (16.06) were greeted by a fall of 4.2%.
Celyad (0.58) finally fell by 7.9% while MDxHealth (0.356) and Mithra (2.51) rose once more by 7.2 and 3.3% in the company of Oxurion (0.0056) which regained 3.7%.
The euro was at 1.1030 USD on Friday morning like the day before around 4:30 p.m. The bullion was trading around 59,470 euros, down 520 euros.
