AHMEDABAD: The much-awaited IPL 2023 finale will be held today (May 29) following the rain stopped yesterday. Due to heavy rain, the match was postponed to Monday, a reserve day. Even before the toss, there was heavy rain and thunder at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. There was a long wait for the match to be played, but the rain prevented it and the game had to be postponed. The fans in the stadium and the audience watching the live broadcast on TV, mobile etc. were waiting late into the night. But following 10 o’clock many fans were forced to leave the stadium.

Gujarat will be aiming for their second title in a row. Gujarat is pinning its hopes on opener Shubman Gill. Gill has already won the Orange Cap this season. Gill scored three centuries. If Gill can be captured, Chennai will have hope.
