The Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the early hours of today, Sunday, in Río Piedras, which left two people dead and 13 people injured.
According to preliminary information, a call through the 9-1-1 Emergency System alerted the Police to shots fired in the 11th Street area of the Hill Brothers Parcels. When the police arrived at the scene, they found the body of a man shot.
Related to these events, 14 injured people were also reported, who were transported to different hospitals.
Later, it was indicated that one of the injured, a 72-year-old man, died at the Centro Médico de Río Piedras hospital.
The report does not detail the nature of the injuries, stating that the severity of his injuries is unknown.
Agent Norail Travieso, attached to the Homicide Division of the San Juan Criminal Investigation Corps, together with prosecutor Luis Valentin, took charge of the investigation.
