Vienna massively increases the meal fees in kindergartens – Vösendorf subsidizes every meal
Vienna (OTS) – “While in Vienna the automatic inflation does not stop at the kindergartens, the market town of Vösendorf lives politics with heart at the gates of Vienna,” says the state party chairman of the Vienna People’s Party, City Councilor Karl Mahrer, regarding the relief measures of the Vösendorf VP Mayor Hannes Koza.
The SPÖ-neos city government in Vienna increases food contributions in kindergartens by a whopping 10.5 percent. In neighboring Vösendorf, the community supports their families with fifty cents per meal; the costs for the snack are covered in full.
“Instead of always just demanding relief packages from the federal government, the Vienna SPÖ should finally relieve the Viennese instead of burdening them. The mayor in Vienna might definitely follow the example of his colleague in Vösendorf,” Mahrer concludes.
