“Anna Hall Dominates Götzis Track and Field Meet: Nearly Breaks 7,000-Point Mark”

Anna Hall won the all-around meeting of track and field athletes in Götzis and only just missed the 7,000-point mark with a world record of 6,988 points. Second place went to the British Katarina Johnson-Thompson (6,556) on Sunday, third was the Pole Adrianna Sulek (6,480). The best Austrian was Isabel Posch, who achieved her best career performance in 15th with 6,021.

She is only the fourth Austrian to break the 6,000 mark. Chiara-Belinda Schuler scraped past them in 19th place with 5,916 points. Sarah Lagger did not compete in the final 800m.

“I’m just happy, it feels great. I can’t wait to get back to work and ready for the World Cup,” said Hall.
