“Behind you, see you, and it’s a long time” It seems that the American billionaire Elon Musk is continuing to apply that saying, as it “sprouts” for all mankind everywhere.

On Twitter and in space, electric cars and more, the man in his fifties never tires of working or tweeting.

As for what was new today, his company, Neuralink, announced that it had officially obtained the green light from the US Food and Drug Administration, in order to start conducting the first clinical trial on the human brain.

The company reported the news in a tweet on its Twitter account today, Friday, expressing its enthusiasm to launch the first experiment to implant an electronic chip in a human brain!

The news naturally enraged Musk, who has been talking since 2019 regarding medical and technical development in this field, so he shared his company’s tweet, congratulating him!

Treatment of blindness or paralysis

Neuralink, which was founded in 2016, seeks to implant this chip in human brains for medical purposes, such as treating some cases of blindness or paralysis, as well as other neurological diseases.

Note that at the end of last year (2022), that company faced a federal investigation into allegations of possible violations of animal rights, amid complaints from employees of accelerating animal experiments, which caused many of them to die unnecessarily, according to what was reported at the time by “Archyde.com”.

Neuralink employees also complained regarding Musk’s pressure to accelerate research, which led to failed experiments, and thus prompted repeated experiments, of course, which increased the number of animals that are subject to experiments and then killed.

It is noteworthy that many companies use animals periodically in experiments to enhance human health care, and animals are usually killed when the experiments are completed. It is also often subjected to autopsy following killing it for research purposes as well.

However, medical and scientific ethics allow this in order to promote human health.

But the topic that is currently raised, apart from animal experiments, is the extent to which technology and artificial intelligence advance in the medical field. After the possibility of cultivating a slice of science fiction that we may only see in movies, the matter is now being implemented!
