ABU DHABI, 25th May, WAM / The Cultural Foundation in Abu Dhabi is hosting a range of activities and events to celebrate the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, in its current session, which will continue until May 28th.
In this regard, the complex is organizing a “page” exhibition for art books, during the period from 26 to 29 May, which includes a mixture of 16 institutions and artists, who were chosen to participate in this event.
The day following tomorrow, “Saturday”, at eight o’clock in the evening, the complex will host the Egyptian artist Ali Al-Hajjar in a concert entitled “Mabsoutin” in honor of the Egyptian poet Abdel Rahman Al-Abnudi.
The ceremony, which will be opened by the journalist, Aya Al-Abnudi, will be held with a distinguished recitation of a number of her father’s most famous poems, in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair and the Cultural Foundation.
It will also host a theatrical work written and directed by Marai Al-Halyan entitled “Samra” on May 27, which deals with the life of a musical group, the relationship of its members, and the musical art they provide as a means of expressing themselves, under an exceptional circumstance.
The Children’s Library of the Cultural Foundation is participating in the Abu Dhabi Book Fair with a distinctive pavilion bearing the slogan of sustainability through technology.
