Abstract painting is something that for many centuries will cause controversy between admirers of fine art. Someone admires her and sees something special in her, while someone categorically does not accept. Abstract art has another name – non-objective. This direction was born at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries in Europe and the USA. It is no secret that at that time realism dominated, that is, a naturalistic representation of reality in painting and sculpture. Proponents of abstract art opposed themselves to realism, in their opinion, their works embodied creativity in its purest form. If realistic painting copied objects of the surrounding world, then abstract painting depicted emotions, ideas, and the author’s vision. In the paintings of abstract artists there was nothing that might be interpreted literally, which means that the viewer got a unique opportunity to pass what he saw through himself, through the prism of his experience. Not everyone perceives such art – someone can spend hours looking at chaotic strokes on the canvas, and someone thinks that any child can draw this.
