Mobvoi has just launched the new TicWatch Pro 5, the world’s first smartwatch with the Snapdragon W5 Plus Gen 1 chip that brings 50% more performance with twice the agility when opening apps on Wear OS 3 with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.
According to Mobvoi, the TicWatch Pro 5 has an autonomy of up to 45 days in essential mode or 80 hours in intelligent mode. You can average the two with all the features of Wear OS 3 with Smart Essential or Scheduled mode to change how your watch works at set times, like when you’re sleeping, for example.
The battery still has a fast charge that goes from 0 to 65% in 30 minutes, but just 15 minutes in the socket already guarantee a whole day of use in essential mode.
Explaining better, the main screen of TicWatch Pro 5 is 1.43 inches in AMOLED with 326 ppi, while the secondary screen is the same size, but the secondary screen has the same technology as traditional watches and is backlit with 18 different colors that can indicate fitness, heart status and more.
Choose from 18 vibrant colors for the low-power display to match your look. When exercising, easily track your heart rate while the backlight changes according to your heart rate. Six colored zones ranging from aquamarine, deep orange to fiery red indicate heat, cardio or heart rate zones that are dangerous to the naked eye.
Speaking of fitness, the TicWatch Pro 5 is capable of indicating 5 one-touch health metrics: heart beats per minute, blood oxygen saturation, breathing rate, stress level and heart health.
There is even smart detection of irregular heart rhythm for various cardiac arrhythmias, including FAib, premature beat, tachycardia/bradycardia.
The watch can monitor more than 100 types of activities and sleep in detail to recommend ways to improve your health.
Customization is another strength of TicWatch Pro 5, as with the TimeShow app you can choose from 1,000 different watch faces to match your style.
The TicWatch Pro 5’s design is comprised of a 7000 series stainless steel and aluminum case with high-strength fiberglass nylon accents weighing in at 44.3 grams. The screen is reinforced with Gorilla Glass, a set that allowed it to receive certifications of 5 ATM once morest water and military resistance grade MIL-STD-810H. The bracelet is 24mm.
Among the sensors integrated into the watch we find Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, 2.4 GHz WiFi, GPS, Beidou, Glonass, Galileo, QZSS, accelerometer, gyroscope sensor, HD PPG heart rate sensor, SpO2, body temperature, barometer and digital compass.
