“This step is anything but easy for us. We tried for a long time to keep all our branches, but customer behavior is changing rapidly and we have to take that into account,” says Markus Piringer, Managing Director of Raiffeisenbank Freistadt, regarding the decision to expand the branch network in the medium term to be reduced from the current eleven to six locations.
