Technisches Museum Wien is showing a new special exhibition on the climate crisis and the energy transition from June 16, 2023

Vienna (OTS) With diverse multimedia installations, numerous interactive elements, innovative best-practice examples from research and industry as well as highlight objects from the collection of the Technical Museum Vienna, the new exhibition illustrates the complex dynamics of the energy transition and climate crisis and provides an overview of possible strategies and innovative Technologies that make it possible to phase out fossil fuels in the long term. From June 16, 2023, “Energiewende. A race once morest time” Insights into the diverse and intertwined challenges – as well as into the diverse and innovative solutions. Visitors can experience for themselves what a successful energy transition and a climate-neutral future might look like and receive well-founded orientation knowledge in order to actively participate in the climate discourse.

Start of the exhibition series on future topics in cooperation with the BMK

The exhibition “Energy Transition. A race once morest time” is the first part of the continuing exhibition series “weiter_thought_” in cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology. In a total of three new exhibition projects from 2023 to 2028, future-oriented thematic complexes will be examined in depth and presented in an exciting way: the exhibition on the energy transition will be followed by the subject areas of circular economy and space architecture.

The aim is to align the press conference with the criteria of the Austrian eco-label for green meetings and green events. You can find more regarding this here.
