THE ECO PORTRAIT OF THE WEEK – If parliament validates his name, Kamau Thugge will become the tenth governor of the Central Bank of Kenya, the CBK, and will succeed Patrick Njoroge whose second four-year term ends in June. An appointment that would come following a competitive procedure during which six candidates were interviewed by the Civil Service Commission (public service commission or PSC).
