Today, Tuesday, Queen Rania Al-Abdullah published pictures of the henna ceremony of her son’s fiancee, Rajwa Al-Saif, in Amman.

And on the sound of Jordanian joyful chants mixed with Arab and Hijazi heritage and authentic popular chants, Queen Rania Al Abdullah held, on Monday evening, a henna party at Zahran Palace in the Jordanian capital, Amman, with the participation of a number of princesses of the royal family, and nearly 600 women who attended from all over Jordan’s governorates, villages and valleys, as the first celebrations The royal marriage of the Crown Prince of the Kingdom, Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah, to Ms. Rajwa Al-Saif, scheduled for the first of next June.
A royal henna night was made for the Saif family, the fiancee of the Jordanian Crown Prince, Prince Hussein bin Abdullah, the event, and her dress caught the eye, as she wore a white dress decorated with golden embroidery, and she wore a white cover, and many wondered regarding who designed it, its details, and its symbolism.
The Saudi dress designer, Hunaida Al-Serafi, expressed her pride in being part of this distinguished, historical royal event, in an interview on the Sabah Al-Arabiya program, noting that the dress tells the culmination of the love story between Ragwa Al-Saif and Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah, combining the Saudi and Jordanian identity in terms of fashion and culture. It also reflects the kind, energetic, and beautiful personality of Miss Rajah.
The designer explained that she was inspired by her design from the Najdi dress or the cloud dress, which is one of the Saudi traditional costumes, and is famous for the length of the sleeve that turns into the bride’s veil.
The designer added that she made sure that the dress bears the star in the Jordanian flag that symbolizes Surat Al-Fatihah, as well as the shape of the palm tree from Saudi Arabia, which symbolizes the nerve of life, goodness and giving, which is part of the personality of Rajah, as she put it.
And the Saudi designer added that she had inscribed on the dress the words of a Tunisian poet, in which he says, “I see you, so I have life…”.
