Professional fatigue: French employees in favor of automation
The survey conducted by UiPath reveals that automation can be a solution to combat the professional fatigue felt by French employees. Indeed, nearly 63% of them believe that this technology can improve their job satisfaction. This opinion is shared by 60% of employees surveyed worldwide.
This trend reflects employees’ awareness of the impact of technology on their quality of professional life. The survey results show that French employees no longer perceive automation as a threat to their jobs, but as a tool to help them do their job better.
Automation, a solution to work overload
The survey conducted by UiPath shows that nearly a third of French employees are already using automation to compensate for an overload of work caused by layoffs or hiring freezes. The situation is particularly difficult for 42% of French employees who say they have up to 10% more tasks than their British counterparts.
In this context, automation appears as a solution to relieve employees and allow them to focus on tasks with higher added value. Thus, 77% of French employees who use automation solutions consider that they help to fight once morest fatigue at work, while 85% of them believe that they improve their job satisfaction.
The prospect of greater flexibility appeals to employees
Many French employees who use automation appreciate the advantages it provides in terms of quality of working life. Indeed, 27% of them believe that automation can give them more flexibility regarding their work environment, 33% believe that it can give them more time to acquire new skills, while 33 % think it can help them focus on essential tasks.
This prospect of greater professional flexibility is likely to build employee loyalty. Indeed, 57% of employees surveyed by UiPath say they have a more favorable opinion of employers who use automation to help employees and modernize operations, compared to only 54% in France.
