Going to school by bike, we talk regarding it more and more when it comes to developing soft mobility, and there are still many who wear the brakes to take the plunge. The mobility working group of 4837 Actions, the Local Rural Development Commission (CLDR) of Baelen, has thus decided to promote cycling from May 22 to May 26 by organizing a cyclo-bus. “We invited all the primary students from the two schools (NDLR: de Baelen et de Membach) to register and mention their address to organize a school pick-up by bike that week, supervised each time by two parents”, explains Arnaud Scheen, Alderman for Mobility. A call was thus launched to recruit guides. In terms of routes, the elected official imagined three in Baelen and two in Membach.
