WWDC 2023 is getting closer and closer and Apple seems to be already preparing to announce new products. Among the various reports is a 15-inch MacBook Air and today Erik Woodring, an analyst at Morgan Stanley, is reporting that the company is already increasing production of screens for this new model.
The screens for the 15-inch MacBook Air are expected to be supplied by Quanta Computer, which has increased production of displays for this model at the behest of Apple, which forecasts huge demand for the notebook in the second quarter of 2023.
The new MacBook Air should have the Apple M2 processor at its heart, as analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that models with the Apple M3 should only be launched in the second half of 2023.
Kuo also reported that the MacBook Air shouldn’t be the only news from WWDC 2023:
As part of watchOS 10, the company plans to bring back widgets and make them a central part of the interface. This new strategy will debut at WWDC in June alongside the unveiling of iOS 17, macOS 14, the 15-inch MacBook Air and, of course, the long-awaited mixed reality headset.
