The 2023 class is loaded with top-tier quarterbacks, and given the needs of several NFL teams, four will most likely make the top 10 in the first round. The leading candidates to be elected within this group are Bryce Young (Alabama), CJ Stroud (Ohio State), Will Levis (Kentucky) and Anthony Richardson (Florida).
Another player sure to be among the top picks is linebacker WIll Anderson Jr. (Alabama), seen as the number one prospect of his NCAA generation. Two cornerbacks who might also add prominence are Christian González (Oregon) and Devon Witherspoon (Illinois).
After the series of changes and compromises that have been made ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft, there are several changes in terms of the order of selection compared to how the teams finished last season. There will be one less player selected in the first round, according to a penalty imposed on the Miami Dolphins, since their selection was vacated.
