Today, the name of the great artist, Ali Al-Kassar, topped social networking sites following the death of his grandson in a car accident in the lake.

The artist Ali Al-Kassar is considered one of the most famous stars of the golden age of cinema, and here we show you the most important information regarding the late artist:

_ He was born on July 13, 1887 in the Sayeda Zeinab neighborhood in Cairo.

_ He started acting in 1908 and his theater was very popular in the Egyptian street.

_ Despite his mastery of the Nubian character, he was not Nubian or had Nubian origins.

_ His continued performance of the Nubian character was due to the success of the character of the servant, Othman Abdel Basset, who presented it in one of his theatrical works, with which he was competing with his rival, the star Najeeb Al-Rayhani, who excelled in the character of “Ruffle Bey”.

_ The character required that Al-Kassar dye his face to be black.

_ Credit goes to the director, Togo Mizrahi, for presenting this character to the cinema, and for forming an important duet with Al-Kassar in a number of works, including: Salfani 3 pounds, One Thousand and One Nights, Nour El-Din and the Three Sailors.

_ Critics and the public called him “the first barbarian of Egypt,” and everyone believed that he had Nubian origins.

_ Despite his great success in this character, the lights began to recede from him because the producers limited him to the character of the servant, until he reached the point of presenting one or two scenes in the films.

_ Ali Al-Kassar was a strict and firm father, to the extent of his great kindness and tolerance, and his son connected him in one of the programs to “the fearful.”

_ A story spread on some sites stating that the great artist entered the “madhouse” because he went with a sheep that he had bought for Eid al-Adha, and he drank the sheep as jazz, so one of his friends advised him to go to the ambulance, so the ambulance took him to the mental hospital, and in a rare dialogue with the late artist in 1956, He told this funny story, but concluded that it was only a dream.

_ The great artist suffered from prostate cancer and died in 1957 at the age of 70.

_ Rumors spread that the family of the late artist did not even own the funeral costs, but the son of “Al-Kassar” denied these sayings and confirmed that his father left them enough for them.
