In the final Big Bang, Butter Bread prevailed once morest twelve other competitors from all over the country. They won 12,000 euros and many great non-cash prizes on top!
Vienna (OTS) – Austria’s biggest live act contest has a new winning face! The great team of Butter Bread were able to leave this year’s season as big winners last Saturday (May 20th). In addition to the prize money of 12,000 euros, they won many other prizes. Including a slot at Nova Rock and next year’s Sziget Festival, a music production and much more
13 acts from a wide variety of genres showed their great class in the final big bang of the Planet Festival Tour. In each 25 minutes of playing time, they showed what they are made of: creative arrangements, strong lyrics, funny or profound stage talks. The diversity and colorfulness of each individual performance might really be seen and, above all, also heard. This created the best atmosphere, which was difficult to inspire for the large audience (around 2,000 guests) and the expert jury. None of the finalists went away empty-handed: there were prizes totaling €100,000, including €25,000 in cash for all 13 finalists.
Even though the Planet Festival Tour is a contest, the acts pushed each other forward, cheered each other on and enjoyed the limelight together. The lived community vibe ensured a further increase in atmosphere. There was some tension in the air towards the end. Who would achieve which rank, who would win which prizes (studio days, festival slots, equipment, etc.)? When the name XX finally came up, there was no stopping the troupe. Congratulations!
