The Taiwanese company HTC presented a simplified version of the U23 Pro smartphone. The model is simply called HTC U23.
Here’s what we know
The main differences between the two new products are in the camera and memory capacity. The HTC U23 has a primary camera of 64MP + 2MP and is available in 8/128GB version. The Pro version, on the other hand, has three modules (108 MP + 5 MP + 2 MP), optical stabilization and also offers users 8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage.
As for the other main characteristics, they are identical. The standard edition is also equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, a 4,600 mAh battery and a wired and wireless charging system of 30 W and 15 W respectively. The OLED screen has a diagonal of 6.7 inches, Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The front of the HTC U23 is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus glass. The fingerprint scanner is mounted on the side. The smartphone also has NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 32MP selfie camera and support for the VIVERSE VR platform. Water protection meets IP67 standard
Price and availability date
The HTC U23 will be released with the Android 13 operating system pre-installed. The price and launch date of the smartphone have not been specified. For comparison, the HTC U23 costs from $520 in Taiwan.
