Next Saturday, the Cup of His Highness the President of the State for Athletics at Level “B”, which will be held at the Armed Forces Stadium in Abu Dhabi, and organized by the Athletics Federation and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
More than 20 clubs, in various categories (men, women, juniors and juniors), will participate in the tournament at the end of the season’s competitions, and the tournament is the federation’s ninth during the current season.
Rashid Al Ali, a member of the Federation’s Board of Directors and Chairman of the Public Relations and Institutional Communication Committee, confirmed that the registration of the participating players continues even before the start of the tournament.
Al Ali pointed out that the federation seeks to display the Cup of His Highness the President of the State in its most splendid image, especially since it is the most important and prominent tournament for the federation, because of the name it bears dear to everyone, as the federation began preparing for it well in advance of the start of the competitions.
He added: The technical meeting will be held with the participating clubs in Dubai on May 25, two days before the “kick-off” to give all clubs a full opportunity to finish their preparations for participation.
