Al-Marsad Newspaper: Researcher Muhammad bin Al-Sheikh revealed the most prominent features of the Buraidah Brotherhood and their contradictions.
He said during an interview with mbc channel: “Buraida brothers have a style like Christianity and Judaism. They have the same rituals, isolation and distance from society, and they have their own clothes.”
He continued: “They practice extremism in the sense of moving away from societies, bliss and pleasures,” pointing out that they prevail in the aspect of intimidation and the problem of intellectual clashes that they have, which led to a lack of clarity of their identity.
And he continued: “The Buraidah Brothers are looking for an identity, and this identity is related to religion and they believe that religion is the true identity, and they are looking for symbolism, considering themselves an extension of the predecessors and ascetics.”
And he added: “Their characteristics were far from shame and joy, their homes were devoid of colors, they did not paint the doors, they did not set boards, they lived a simple life and they believed that if they died they would enter paradise,” indicating that among their contradictions is that they count, lend to people, buy and sell.
He pointed out that they were banning canned goods that were imported from abroad, and they were refusing to debate and considering whoever was discussing as a rebel.
