Sony has finally announced the date for the next PlayStation presentation that has been awaited for several weeks. The date is set next week to find out more regarding upcoming games on PS5 and PSVR2, and there may be some surprises.
PlayStation 5 gamers have been eagerly awaiting this date. PlayStation Showcase will reveal its news on May 24th at 9pm (GMT), which is next Wednesday. The previous PlayStation presentation took place on September 9, 2021. This show is always a gold mine for fans of big PlayStation game announcements, as we had confirmation of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the first gameplay teaser for God of War Ragnarok, and the announcement of Wolverine adaptation by Insomniac Games.
We’ll be far from the normal State of Play configuration which was disappointing at times. According to information provided by the PlayStation Blog article, the livestream should be a little over an hour long and will focus on upcoming games on PS5 and PS VR2. According to this article, we will have new licenses announced during this live stream. We’ll also see if the rumors regarding Konami games are confirmed. We’re thinking especially of a possible Castlevania return and a possible remake of Metal Gear Solid 3.
