Duchess Meghan was honored by the charity “Ms. Foundation” with the “Women of Vision Award” at a festive gala in New York City for her activist work. The 41-year-old attended the event with her husband Prinz Harry and her mom Doria Ragland. Meghan presented herself completely in gold during her big performance – and the outfit that she wore at the gala was in fact worth its weight in gold.

Duchess Meghan shines in a $ 12,000 outfit
The Daily Mail According to the Duchess of Sussex, the glamorous look was worth at least $ 12,000 in total.
In keeping with the evening’s feminist theme, the former actress chose a midi dress by the Colombian designer Johanna Ortiz, which she modified independently and had the straps originally included in the design removed. The custom-made dress reportedly cost $1,850.
The gold color scheme was also retained on Tom Ford’s strappy heeled sandals. The shoes are listed on the official website as priced at US$1,350.

Meghan completed her look with a $1,100 Metropolitan Insignia clutch by Carolina Herrera in the same shade of gold – having previously worn a white version of the same design at Trooping the Color in June 2018.
The jewelry that Meghan wore at the New York gala was particularly expensive. The Duchess of Sussex also wore her beloved $7,350 gold Cartier Love bracelet.
Princess Diana bracelet?
That would be around $12,000. But the outfit might have been worth far more. Because Meghan’s left wrist also adorned several diamond bracelets, one of which according to Daily Mail one appeared to be a Cartier design that once existed Princess Diana belonged.
Experts estimate the value of the piece of jewelry at between 18,000 and 150,000 US dollars.
