Actor and director Rustam Urazaev passed away in Moscow at the age of 65. This was announced on May 18 on his page in social networks by his friend and colleague Rashid Malikov.
Urazaev has been battling cancer in recent years. In April, the actor announced that he had the third stage of cancer, but he was fighting the disease and was undergoing treatment in one of the clinics in the capital.
Rustam Urazaev is from Tashkent. He studied as a graphic designer and a historian, but fate brought him to the cinema. The actor managed to play more than 50 roles on stage and on the screen, directed serials. Urazaev starred in such multi-part films as “Capercaillie” and “Next”. His last work was the series “Virus”.
