“Nurse Sentenced to Life for Murder of Patients in Munich Hospital”

A 27-year-old nurse was sentenced to life in prison in Munichsouthern Germany, for the murder of two patients and for trying to kill six other patients.

The health professional mainly worked in the emergency rooms of a Munich hospital where patients were transferred following an operation.

He was found guilty of injecting drug cocktails without a prescription to several patients.

Two of them, aged 80 and 87, died following having been in a coma for several days due to the injections. According to the court, he was also found guilty of six attempted murder charges.

A nursing assistant alerted the hospital management upon noting the sudden worsening of the patients. Blood tests showed that they were injected with an overdose of medication that had not been prescribed.
