“NFL International Game History: From Mexico to Munich to London”

The NFL has disputed so far 39 games outside their territorystarting with that one Cardinals-49ers on October 2, 2005 in Mexico City, with a 31-14 victory for Arizona. Four other games have been held there, while London has received 33.

In 2022, the NFL expanded its horizons and reached Germany: at the Bayern Munich stadium, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with Tom Brady at the controls, beat the Seattle Seahawks 21-16. For the 2023 season, on Wednesday May 10, the league announced that five international matches will be played.

  • Week 4: Atlanta Falcons vs. Jacksonville Jaguares (Wembley)
  • Week 5: Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Buffalo Bills (Tottenham Stadium)
  • Week 6: Baltimore Ravens vs. Tennessee Titans (Tottenham Stadium)
  • Week 9: Miami Dolphins vs. Kansas City Chiefs (Frankfurt)
  • Week 10: Indianapolis Colts vs. New England Patriots (Frankfurt)
