Riyadh: The Nahda Real Kerala Super Cup football match started in Jeddah with various events. Thirurangadi Municipality Chairman KP Mohammadkutty inaugurated the event. CIF Acting General Secretary Ayub Mash presided. Nahda Hypermarket Group Board Member Nasser Nalakat, Masood Nahda, Mustaq JNH, Ramsheed Sama United MD and Powerhouse MD Shafi Gudallur were the chief guests.
Tournament Committee Chairman Feroze Cheruko gave a welcome speech. The opening ceremony was attended by dignitaries from various fields in Jeddah. A dance program by the team led by Anshief Abubakar added to the opening ceremony. In the first match, Abeer Bluestar team and Computek IT soccer team ended in a goalless draw.
Both teams tried hard for the goal but to no avail. Bluestar’s Safwan was the man of the match who performed brilliantly throughout the game. The second match was played between Sharafia Trading Sabin FC team and Bahigroup Blasters FC team in an exciting match where Sabin FC team won by two goals to one. Saab’s Aslam was the star of the game.

CIF Ex-President Hifsurahman, CIF Treasurer Nizam Papetta, Secretary Abu Kattupara, Salam Kalikao, Hussain Chullyot, Bawa Bluestar and Shamseer Computek introduced the players and Yasir Arafat and Anwar Karipa accompanied the guests. CIF Vice President Salim Mampat, KC Abdurrahman and Jalil Kannamangalam presented the prizes given by Asian Times to the best players. Nani Makka and Yahya presented the prizes which were given by Turmer through raffle.
