The Mail Picard reports that, this Monday, May 15, the grand-nephew of Brigitte Macron was violently attacked in Amiens in front of the chocolate factory Jean Trogneux.
After Emmanuel Macron’s appearance at 8 p.m. on TF1, several people allegedly hit Jean-Baptiste when he was already on the ground. Jean-Alexandre Trogneux, father of the victim says: “A dozen people headed to our shop in downtown Amiens following the President’s speech on television. They were part of a group of demonstrators who gather regularly in front of City Hall… It was 10 p.m. Jean-Baptiste returned to the shop when they fell on him. He received punches, kicks. He curled up to protect himself but he has head, face, knee and finger injuries.”
The regional media explains that the grand-nephew of the First Lady of France has filed a complaint with the authorities and that he is today unable to work for a period of eight days. Eight people were arrested and taken into custody.
