Eight years in prison for putting cocaine into Palogordo, in Girón

Eight years of sentence must be paid by John Edison Jaimes Ordóñez for trying to enter cocaine into the Maximum Security Prison of Palogordo, in Girón.

The criminal act occurred on October 4, 2022, when the man returned to the prison following enjoying a 72-hour permit that he was granted for his good behavior.

In the midst of the meticulous controls carried out by the Inpec guard, they found 210 grams of cocaine.

“He had 27 capsules of the drug in his stomach, which he intended to sell in the prison,” reported the Prosecutor’s Office following the respective investigation carried out.

Jaimes Ordóñez made a pre-agreement with the prosecuting entity and received the sentence for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing and possession of narcotics.

This man had been serving a sentence for the murder of Judin Andrés Vega Rincón, 33, since 2018.

The murder occurred on February 19, 2017, in the El Reposo neighborhood of Floridablanca, in the middle of a fight with a knife.

The confrontation was recorded because, at that time, Vega Rincón would have had a relationship for a short time with the John couple. After the relationship ended, the woman decided to return to the man who was sentenced today.
