The General Sports Authority launched an anti-doping campaign under the slogan “I reject doping”, in cooperation with the National Anti-Doping Agency and Dubai Police, during its participation in the 2023 Sports Medicine Conference, which started last Saturday and concluded its activities, the day before yesterday, at the headquarters of the Mohammed bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences in Dubai. .
The Secretary-General of the General Sports Authority, Saeed Abdul Ghaffar, said: “The authority is keen to join efforts and work with its partners to develop various aspects of sports work in the country, in line with the vision of the wise leadership.”
Abdul Ghaffar added: “The Authority’s participation in the Emirates Sports Medicine Conference comes as a strategic partner to support the conference in the framework of interest in the field of sports medicine as one of the pillars of the development of the sports sector, to enhance health awareness among athletes, in line with government directions and plans aimed at enhancing security and safety in the sports sector.”
