“The future Constitution must respond to the aspirations of the people of Guinea, and resist the temptations of men, it must also have the ability to adapt to its environment, embrace universal principles, while protecting our own identity, in short, it must remain strong. The stakes are high, which is why we are convinced that the principles and values that should underlie the drafting of the future constitutional text are essential for the direction that we are going to give our country. And for the safeguard of the sovereignty of our country, it is imperative that we have a Constitution which can guarantee national unity in our diversity which constitutes a rampare with any attempt at revision to personal and selfish facts and envisages sanctions with the ‘ once morest the actors or perpetrators of any shortcomings’, launched the Prime Minister.

Our future Constitution is an opportunity to guarantee fundamental rights relating to health, housing, food security for all Guinean citizens and particularly for vulnerable people. We would like to draw your attention to ecological and climatic issues and to the environmental problems of our mining activities, to this end, the text must define the role of the State in the preservation of the national environment, it goes there in the interest, the health of our populations and the sustainability of the wealth to be bequeathed to our future generations”, he underlined.
