An unprecedented idea that was pioneered by the Moroccan artist Amine Boudchar, the musical maestro, who left everything to dedicate his life to his favorite hobby… music.

The star of Amine Boudchar shone on the stages of theaters and theaters in Morocco and France, thanks to his presentation with his band of a strange show of its kind, as he does not need a singer to perform his songs, because the audience is the one who volunteers to do so.

The voices of the audience rise inside the galleries under the waves of the maestro, to mix with the tones of the instruments. They did not come only to relax their ears to the notes of the music, but to contribute to the creation of various lyrical paintings, unleashing their talents.

From numbers to melodies

Confucius’s saying: “Choose a job you love and you will not have to work a day in your life” applies to Boudchar, who cut his career path as a statistics engineer, to devote himself to managing his artistic project entitled “La chorale .. c’est vous”, meaning “The chorale is you.” “.

Regarding his departure from the track of numbers to enter the world of melodies, the maestro revealed to “Sky News Arabia” that he emigrated from the city of Muhammadiyah in western Morocco to Paris to continue his studies in the preparatory departments, following obtaining a baccalaureate in mathematical sciences.

Immediately following his graduation, the ambitious young man entered working life in 2014 through the field of money and business, but the folds of fate carried other goals for him, due to his passion for music and his playing the organ from time to time.

The young man felt his heart, and set his passion for art in mind, so he established a musical group in 2018, which he called “Mizan”, and most of its crew were amateurs.

Boudchar spared no effort to develop his first experience, during periods of quarantine resulting from the spread of the Corona pandemic, so he created a new band consisting of professional musicians, who know the instruments as they know their children.

Unique experience

Boudchar told Sky News Arabia, “The idea of involving the audience in singing represents an unprecedented gesture, which managed to create harmony between him and the orchestra, and get him out of monotony.”

He also revealed that “this method resonated widely, because it opens the audience’s eyes to the authentic Moroccan heritage, and makes young people discover what their fathers and grandfathers used to say in terms of music and hymns.”

The spokesman pointed out that “his team sends the texts of the songs that will be played to the audience via e-mail, immediately following they obtain tickets for the concert via the Internet, to enable them to view the schedule of songs and keep up with the band while playing.”

The first experience that the maestro launched was on the tenth of June 2022, in the French capital, and since then he has accumulated experiences and has been organizing concerts in France and Morocco, relying on two teams to work between the two shores, including regarding 50 musicians.

Renewal of Moroccan music

In addition to playing passages from the Moroccan heritage, Boudchar seeks to renew it and give it a new breath, by introducing improvements and modifications, through which he revives varieties of Moroccan music, especially the oriental or Susian ones.

In major cities such as Rabat, Marrakech and Oujda, the young Moroccan seeks to broaden his horizons by playing some classical French passages.

The maestro promises more surprises, including inviting great artists to entertain the audience with the latest songs.

It should be noted that this new style of concerts was well received by great artists, as the Syrian artist Asala Nasri re-posted a music clip by Boudchar on her Instagram page, through the “Stories” (Al-Stori) feature, praising the “diligence” that introduces the audience to Multiple varieties of traditional and modern songs.
