‘Marriage Hell’ Oh Eun-young gave advice to a husband who ignored his wife and took out a loan of 100 million won alone. In the MBC entertainment program ‘Oh Eun-young Report – Marriage Hell’, which aired on the 15th, her couple, who are in trouble due to economic problems, appeared.
The husband who appeared on the show that day did not try to talk regarding money with his wife. The reason was that she thought her wife didn’t know much regarding her finances. When her wife asked to see her loan papers, she expressed her discomfort by saying, “What are you going to do to see how much her debt is?” Her husband had a debt of 290 million won due to a total of three failed investments.
In an interview, the wife said that she recently found out regarding the debt, and that her husband had previously written a memorandum to show her money-related documents, but she did not inform her regarding the loan.
The husband said, “My wife doesn’t know much regarding economics. She can’t even tell the difference between a check card and a credit card.” Her wife admitted, “I don’t know much regarding the economic part. In response, Dr. Oh Eun-young asked, “Couples have a lot of things to do together. When getting a loan, of course you have to discuss it. I wonder why we didn’t discuss it.” Her husband replied, “Even if her wife talked regarding it, she wasn’t interested in the financial part. I thought that if I talked regarding it, there would be no solution or advice, only increased anxiety.”
Oh Eun-young said, “I was so surprised. From the beginning to the end, my husband said, ‘Since you don’t know regarding the economy, can you solve this situation even if you know it?'” It doesn’t matter how much your wife knows regarding the economy. It’s important that I didn’t do it and took out a loan,” she said.
Oh Eun-young said, “I don’t think this is it. Apart from the fact that I’m a doctor and a specialist, I’m telling you as a senior in life. You’re scolding your husband. You shouldn’t do that. You should discuss it.”
