The new role of the Central Market
Regarding the new role that will be granted to the Central Market, the authorization of the entity within the Registry of Importers was defined.
“Before the detection of distortions in food prices by the Secretary of Commerce, due to the abuse of companies with a dominant market position, the Central Market may directly import these products with Zero Tariff creating a greater offer of products without intermediation cost”, the Palacio de Hacienda opportunely indicated.
The package also includes a payment plan from the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) for small and medium-sized companies.
