Sometimes brilliant, sometimes picky, sometimes solid, sometimes disappointing, James Harden was the roller coaster during the series once morest the Celtics. Unfortunately for the Sixers, during Game 7 in Boston, the Bearded man showed his bad face at the worst time. As so often in his career in the Playoffs…
9 points, 7 assists, 5 stray bullets, 3/11 shooting including 1/5 from 3-pointers, all that in 41 minutes of play.
This Game 7 once morest the Celtics was added to the (long) list of James Harden’s disasterclassesthe bearded man with several pots to his credit in the Playoffs, from Oklahoma City to Philadelphia, obviously passing through Houston.
It probably doesn’t surprise anyone anymore, but each time you can’t help but nod your head from side to side as you see Harden crashing in games where his team needs him the most. And that night in the hot atmosphere of Boston, the Sixers really needed him. Not necessarily to put 40 points like in Game 1 and Game 4 of the series. But to do Harden good in his role as Sixers playmaker. The Harden who both plays others while being aggressive enough to put his 20 points. We had neither.
Admittedly, Ramesse distributed 7 assists in Game 7, but he mostly lost 5 balls. And when it came to weighing in the scoring, the Barbu was missing, finishing with only three baskets on the counter and two small free throws. Harden never seemed like he might, or wanted to, make a difference. Lacking aggressiveness, contenting himself with bringing out the balls instead of going to finish, and giving the impression of refusing duels on several occasions, the star point guard of the Sixers was simply ghostly tonight. From there, it’s hard for the Sixers to hope for anything, even if he’s not the only culprit (hello Joel).
Harden has dropped 2 huge games on this series, like it or not.
But doing that tonight… once more…and once more…in Game 7…knowing that he’s expected…the Sixers are counting on him…it’s getting too heavy on the record.
Terrible.

And now, what’s next for James Harden?
With a player option for next season, the Barbu can become a free agent and rumors of a potential return to Houston have been circulating for months. Can he really leave Philadelphia on such a note, thus eliminating his dreams of an NBA title? The future will answer this question. Asked regarding the subject at a press conference, Harden logically remained evasive, even if he seemed to project himself with the Sixers. A little less with Doc Rivers on the other hand.
???????????? the hesitation before answering looks like his best hezi ball in hand.pic.twitter.com/XT5A8zntiC

No matter what the future holds, James Harden’s performance in Game 7 in Boston further solidifies his bad reputation in big games. The Sixers were however warned…
