What did he say?
“I talked regarding this case with Pablo Millad, president of the ANFP… I told him that it was strange to me that when it comes to reel things (in soccer teams), the attitudes of the coaches and teammates are super harsh… The starting goalkeeper of Colo Colo (Cortés) does not play due to indiscipline… It is different to talk regarding a reel and a crime,” he said to begin.
He added that “this week it was announced that he (Jordhy Thompson) had come to terms, paying a fine. That’s true, but it was done without the victim’s agreement., although this exists in current legislation. And beyond that, this is talked regarding as if a tree had been pruned badly, when it is a crime… This agreement prevents a trial, but the facts were not ruled out, on the contrary, they were proven”.
Immediately followingwards, he explained that “it seems unacceptable that Blanco y Negro, the controlling institution of Colo Colo, does not take this seriously, as the Social and Sports Club did… I contacted Mr. Stöhwing and told him that the approach was wrong. In cases of violence once morest women, it does not go through a sports psychologist or a sports frustration, but they are crimes. You can’t lower gravity to this.”
He closed by stating that “before these things were silent and now, In the football environment, women raise their voices more every day”.
