A man from Maryland was caught by the police while stealing a military vehicle. The incident happened on Saturday. He tried to steal a military vehicle weighing five tons. However, the police who followed him caught him following a lot of effort. During his efforts to escape from the police vehicle, several other vehicles also met with an accident. A 38-year-old man named Michael Stevens was arrested by the police. The Maryland Sheriff’s Office arrested him on felony charges of vehicle theft and assault.

He was in police custody in another case and was released a few days ago. Shortly following, Stevens attempted to steal a 5-ton M923A1 military cargo truck from a home in Bel Air, Maryland. The owner informed the police regarding the theft. A subsequent police investigation found the vehicle on a local road before turning onto Interstate 95 regarding 20 miles northeast of Baltimore.

The police tried to arrest him for stealing the vehicle several times but failed. He was then caught by the police while trying to run away following leaving it on a local road. The police say that many passers-by were injured during the dangerous driving he did to escape when the police vehicle followed him.
