Missour – A medical campaign specializing in eye and cataract surgery was organized for four days (from May 10 to 13) for the benefit of the population of several municipalities in the province of Boulemane.
Initiated by the “Adrar Forum” association, in partnership with the provincial delegation of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection in Boulemane and the Provincial Council, this solidarity campaign has made it possible to carry out several surgical operations to eliminate cataracts.
Dr. Hassan Hajjaj, president of the “Adrar Forum” association, in a statement to the continuous news channel of MAP (M24), said that the campaign targets nearly 110 people from 4 douars under the province of Boulemane, namely Missour, Outat Lhaj and Marmoucha in addition to the circle of Boulemane.
He stressed that the medical cases are previously diagnosed and the necessary analyzes are carried out to know the specificities of each case separately, in order to provide the necessary material for this process to take place in the best conditions.
This medical campaign, supervised by specialized medical personnel, brought hospital care and services closer to the target population. The operated patients will also be followed by specialist doctors.
