The artist several times turned to Valentin Abramovich with a request to design stage outfits for her. However, he did not always agree to help.
Two weeks ago, Valentin Yudashkin passed away. The famous fashion designer died at the age of 60 from cancer. It was the difficult life of Valentin Abramovich that was dedicated to the next issue of the Tonight program on Channel One. Among others, the 49-year-old singer Natalia Poryvay (Queen), who knew the deceased well, was invited to the studio. The performer of the hit “Yellow Tulips” admitted that very often the couturier refused to work with her, and the reasons for this at first glance do not seem very obvious.
According to the recollections of the wife of the stripper Tarzan, in the 90s she turned to Yudashkin several times for stage outfits. This collaboration was incredibly successful: every appearance on stage in costumes from Valentin Abramovich caused an unprecedented resonance. But the problem was that high-quality and bright things were not available to ordinary people, and the Queen tried to create for herself the image of a “singer from the people.”
“Valya always told me:“ Queen, don’t get too carried away with me, dose it. You are a girl from our yard, you should be closer to the people, because your songs are folk and you should be folk. Sometimes you can.” Therefore, sometimes I just went to him, at least to drink coffee, ”recalls Natalia Vladimirovna.
The Queen added that Yudashkin always asked customers for the idea that they want to convey to the public – and only following that did he get to work. Valentin Abramovich loved to work with artists. Many people know that in 1994 it was he who created the black hoodie of Alla Pugacheva. Also, the couturier, whose relatives were recently stabbed in the back, dressed Lyudmila Gurchenko.
