From the 22nd to the 26th of May, the II Industrial Management in Practice Week will provide five free online short courses on the main themes of shop floor management, such as PCP, sales price formation, fine programming and inventory. The event is open to managers and collaborators from industries and also university students from all over the country.
The courses “Creating the engineering of your products” are part of the program for the 2023 edition; “PCP: what you need to know”; “Efficient stock control”; “Sales price formation and cost analysis” and “Programming production”. Daily, at 10am, a training course will be available on the distance learning platform “Academia Nomus”. At the end of the last day, participants will receive a certificate.
Participants will learn regarding product mix composition; analyze sales prices with the costs involved in manufacturing; fundamental concepts of production planning and control; movement of inputs in the stock and on the generation of the programming of what is produced in a factory.
In addition to the video material, participants will have access to worksheets created by experts to facilitate learning and practice. “Having practical experience and seeing real day-to-day examples in factories expands learning and that’s what we want”, said engineer João Pimenta.
The specialists who will teach the contents have engineering training and experience in managing factories. “We know how difficult technical terms can seem, but it is possible to learn in a simple and practical way”, commented Thiago Leão, one of the teachers.
