Kottarakkara – House surgeon Dr. Kottarakkara taluk hospital. The Rural District Crime Branch has started an investigation into the stabbing death of Vandana Das. Defendant G. Sandeep has been taken into custody.
A team headed by Investigating Officer Crime Branch DySP MM Jose reached Kottarakkara Taluk Hospital and collected the CCTV camera footage. Action has also been taken to check Sandeep’s seized phone. It is reported that on the morning of the incident, Sandeep had sent a WhatsApp message, including to some people in the school where he was looking for work, while being violent. After checking the information on the mobile phone, it was decided to interrogate Sandeep.
Senior police officers led by ADGP M.R. Ajithkumar, including in the emergency department of the taluk hospital, also conducted an inspection yesterday. Dr. The ADGP directed the investigation team to collect the exact evidence, including from the place where Vandana Das was stabbed. Forensic experts collected bloodstain samples from here as evidence.
