The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, indicated, during a speech commemorating the departure of the leader in Hezbollah, Mustafa Badreddine, that “I extend my blessings and condolences to the Palestinian people, the resistance factions, and in particular the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, and I condole them with the martyrs, the leaders who They were martyred these days.”

He pointed out that “there is a problem in Lebanon, similar to what afflicts some people, with narrow horizons, narrow calculations, separation from reality, and denial of developments,” wondering, “Is it possible for someone to correctly approach the events in Lebanon in isolation from the events in the region?”

Nasrallah stressed that “the aggression once morest Gaza was initiated by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in order to assassinate the leaders of the Al-Quds Brigades,” noting that “it is unfortunate that the global silence has continued, and the United States of America has prevented the issuance of a statement of condemnation, for its killing of women and children in Gaza,” pointing out He pointed out that Netanyahu’s motives for the battle are “restoring eroded deterrence, escaping from the internal division, and addressing the government crack.”

And he stressed that “the resistance factions have a high ability to restore any targeting of their leaders,” noting that “they did not back down, nor did the resistance movements, their strength, or their will weaken, by assassinating their leaders. The battle does not prevent the enemy from achieving any of its goals,” considering that “the resistance in Gaza thwarted the enemy’s goal of restoring deterrence.”

Nasrallah declared, “We are in constant contact with the leaders of the factions, we monitor the situation and its development, and we provide possible assistance within certain limits, but at any time the responsibility imposes on us to take any step or steps, we will not hesitate, God willing.”

On Syria, he saw that “the invitation of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to the Arab League is a very important step, and I say that Syria has remained in its place and has not changed its position or strategy,” referring to “Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi’s visit to Syria, and the Iranian strategic relations were emphasized.” Syria and the signing of agreements.

He revealed, “We receive blessings with the return of Arab relations with Syria, and with every political or moral victory in Syria, in which we see the face of Mustafa Badr al-Din and all the martyrs, and with every development and progress we are among those who bless us,” declaring that “the Lebanese government is required to restore normal relations with Syria, and this is in the interest of Lebanon.”

Regarding the file of the displaced Syrians, Nasrallah stressed that “handling the file of the displaced is by forming a security ministerial delegation to visit Damascus, and a sovereign decision must be taken and not yield to external pressure,” stressing that “Hezbollah does not prevent anyone from returning to the Syrian border villages, and all propaganda regarding That’s a big lie.”

And he stressed that “a few days ago it was said that the Jordanian Air Force raided a target in the border area in Syria, and the one who was killed was accused of being a drug dealer and being the first man of Hezbollah in Syria. The legal, religious and moral are clear and decisive. We do not accept that the honorable weapon of the resistance be contaminated with the impurity of drugs, and this is our behavior and our position.

Regarding the presidential file, Nasrallah explained that the head of the Marada Movement, Suleiman Franjieh, “is not a coincidental candidate for us, but rather a natural and serious candidate,” indicating that there is a “positive development in the presidential election file,” and he also stressed that “we do not impose a candidate.” On anyone, and let each side nominate any name it wants, and let us go to the council to elect a president.”

And he stressed, “We are not with the appointment of a governor for the Banque du Liban within the caretaker government, and therefore we did not go to appoint a general director for public security, and we are with the caretaker government’s commitment within its constitutional powers, and not to infringe these powers, and let us search for solutions to problems within the constitutional and legal powers.”
