The bus network and the Tisséo tramway were severely disrupted from morning to evening following a third day of strike at the call of the intersyndicale Sud, CGT, FNCR and CFDT, the four unions still united. On April 11, during the first mobilization, the metro, for the first time in its history, had not worked. If they have not succeeded in repeating this show of force since, despite metro operators on strike, the unions have nevertheless mobilized strongly.

Yesterday, for lack of sufficient personnel, the metro had to stop at 10 p.m. Nineteen bus lines were at a standstill. And the tram only ran at the beginning and end of the day. That is half of the bus and tram services impacted according to management. According to union sources, two-thirds of drivers were on strike, ie 500 to 600 employees out of the thousand who work a day. The cable car was not hit.

Received at 10.30 a.m., at the headquarters of Tisséo Collectivités in Compans, by Serge Jop, the president of Tisséo Voyageurs, Sacha Briand, the elected official in charge of finance, and Thierry Wischnewski, the director of the management, the union delegation, despite nearly two hours of discussion, expressed at the exit, in front of nearly 400 gathered strikers, all his anger. “There was no offer from them. They categorically refuse to negotiate, ”launched Stéphane Chapuis for the CGT.

Four days of strike

The inter-union claims the maintenance of a clause which aligns wages with inflation. Tisséo, which opposes it for financial reasons, proposes an increase of 2.8%, plus 1% at the end of 2023 if inflation exceeds 5%. “If they had signed, that would have been a 12.5% ​​increase over three years from 2021 to 2023, repeats Serge Job. This is beyond inflation over the period. »

“Management no longer wants the safeguard clause. We are not going to let it go, ”said Lionel Dupin, (South). At the CFDT, René Duffo is furious “lessons of morality. We are told that we are the haves. But everything we have, we went to get it, ”says this employee who, with 37 years of seniority, puts forward the commitment of the agents. “We will continue the fight,” concluded Franck Delperier (FNCR) at the microphone before the strikers demonstrated to the Capitol.

Tisséo offered the unions to sign a statement of disagreement by Monday, 6 p.m. A document that applies the revaluation of 2.8% “to all staff”, or 2,600 employees, underlines Serge Jop.

The unions first discussed actions on specific days: music festival, rugby world cup… Then, meeting in the followingnoon, they decided to strike harder by announcing four consecutive days of strike, May 30 and 31, June 1 and 2, the first two days correspond to a mobility fair organized at the MEETT.
