BLACKPINK star Jennie seems to have teased a collaboration with her “The Idol” co-star, The Weeknd.

The 27-year-old K-Pop star and the 33-year-old global megastar star as Angel and Tedros, respectively, in the upcoming HBO drama series, co-created by The Weeknd, ‘Euphoria’ screenwriter Sam Levinson and Reza Fahim.

She shared a snippet of the unreleased song, apparently from “The Idol,” with vocals that sound like Jennie and the “Blinding Lights” hit singer.

The preview played during a DJ set at Jennie’s capsule collection launch for Calvin Klein in South Korea on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 and appeared on TikTok.

Jennie also got fans excited by sharing a Dazed Korea post with the song’s snippet.

The Weeknd has already released “Double Fantasy” from the highly anticipated series, which features rapper Future.

“The Idol,” in which Lily-Rose Depp plays pop star Jocelyn, is set to premiere June 4 on HBO.

Meanwhile, The Weeknd recently said he wants to “kill” his stage name and go back to his real name.

The hit singer is currently on “a cathartic journey” and although he may go from his alter ego to his birth name Abel Tesfaye, he ultimately believes his next album will be the last under the name his fans know him as. better.

He told W magazine, “I’m on a cathartic journey right now. I’m getting ready to close The Weeknd chapter. I’ll keep making music, maybe as Abel, maybe- to be as The Weeknd. But I really want to kill The Weeknd. And I will. Eventually. I’m definitely trying to shed that identity and be reborn.
